Two GD Mixes

Hey, this is more or less the only blog I ever look at. So, thanks. Not sure if you have come across these two mixes by Greg Davis but they seem squarely up your alley. Extended sound collages made up of all GD, or spinoff projects (mickey stuff, seastones, infared roses, radio broadcasts, etc.). Far less abstract than Oswald’s glorious Grayfolded collage. These mixes have long intact stretches of single songs, with some surprising picks. They vacillate between deepest space, fuzzed noise, and the boys at their most sundrenched rock n’roll. I think you’ll dig them. I have no idea who Greg Davis is, but I like the cut of his jib. (I’m not very tech savvy, so apologies if I sent them in the wrong format.)

p.s. Just saw Phil and Bobby at the Bill Graham in SF. The finest Furthur I’ve seen by far, and a treat for this New Yorker to see the boys on their native turf.

AWESOME, Thanks!!  I dig Arthur, I need to check it more often.  I had not seen nor heard of these and am excited to dig in.
